Summer is here and my new baby is ready!
I bought her recently after becoming enamored with the idea of a little remote controlled helicopter for indoors/outdoors fun time. It is not wise for me to let her loose right now inside the house as I am not too handy on the controls and she’s got a little junk in the trunk/ boost in the caboose.

She is a Walkera 5#8 which is a nice coaxial helicopter (that means there is no need for a tail rotor and it flies a bit more stable. She could probably use a new paint job and some other “pimpin’” but she is a sweet little thing!

It was really a close collaboration with the authors of a book about beloved childhood stuffed animals and amusing tales about them. Most people have a digusting little teddy somewhere bearing some terrible name that they have held onto since childhood – this is a celebration of that amusing tradition!

Here’s a character that was created during a Saturday BBQ. I had only a small part to do with his actual construction but was the designated photographer once he was “born”,
You can note from his elaborate hairpiece, bushy mustache and saucy monocle that he is a rich aristocrat professor – a real renaissance man!
