chess con boozee

Well, my new housemate just showed me a quite interesting item, found in one of those catalogs mostly occupied with NASCAR candles and EuroSealer knock-offs, ShotGlass Chess.
ha, unfortunately I cannot find a link to this beauty on their website (lakeside.com) but I found a few other contenders:
Less Expensive Though Still Rather Fancy Chess(45!)
So, those guys are pretty much out of my price range, I mean $70 is a lot of booze for this guy. I think we’ll try and buy the model from said catalog, it’s a sweet $7.90 although it is admittedly a board of mini shot glasses, which might be a good start as I suck at chess. Seems like there are plenty of classic childrens games that could be altered this way
“Okay Timmy, you can have the racecar, Sally can have the doggy, Daddy is going to use this pint glass of 151 blackberry schnapps. Actually Timmy would you might pushing the trashcan over here, thanks.”

Excellent discusion of the ideal shitty beer taste test at old JKDickelLet’s hope that someone actually has the nut-sack to follow through, I would definitely host a Boston AssBeerFest2k4 type of event. I think the only way to really do it right would involve an extensive score sheet and a Access DB to cruncg all the numbers. I can see it now, it is so beautiful…
mailroom madness! v2

So, today we met again with some reps from the mail-machine company. The meeting went pretty well, we basically decided what things we could use to improve & make more efficient our mailings. They proceeded to exhibit to us a couple slick multi-function mail handling devices, all very nice. The showed us their software that allows us to perform virtually instaneous NCOA and CASSlook-ups on all our constituents before mailings.
Needless to say, we were excited by the potential good served by these marvelous devices. Then we get the price tag for this package: $678 a month!
That’s over $8000 a year, holy shit! Needless to say, I think aren’t getting any hot new mailroom tech any time soon. For minute though, sitting there, I saw the future, the future of nonprofit mailing technology… it is a beautiful thing
